As water is a key theme of the camp, we showcase the practice of Gong Fu Cha, a Chinese discipline for cultivating skill at steeping and serving tea through mindful practice.
Tea brings people together, and tea house culture is all about providing a space for people who don't necessarily know each other to find a common space for connecting, talking, and sharing their experiences and ideas. Furthermore, drinking tea together (like making and eating food together) is a way to help people create harmony and resonance with one another, and opens up social spaces to new connection points through this harmonic resonance.
This event will be an opportunity for a small group to get together to meet each other in a casual, non-technical setting, where they can exchange ideas while learning about this practice of Gong Fu Cha and the wide world of Chinese Tea.
