An analog explainer of how branding happens, even if you don’t plan for it + A workshop for those who want to kick off planning it in a build-for-success mode.

There is a myriad of myths and frameworks behind branding. Most of them make no sense and only lead to more complexity and thus more friction. We don't need either of them.
In the first part, I will show (in an analog, sketch-noting way) how a company’s brand image is built over time and how it can be re-built if something has gone wrong. We will look at examples among the DWeb Camp attendees — it will be fun and insightful.

The second part is a brand personality workshop. Stay with us for this part if you:
- are building a product and planning branding in the near future. You will take away a material that will serve as a foundation for your brand.
- run a business whose brand image is already established in people's minds. You'll have the opportunity to see if there's anything that can be improved about the brand foundation. And you'll take away some homework for your marketing and/or design team.

I hope to shed more light on what is shadowed and seen as a complex process.
I hope people will have many a-ha moments in the first part and a lot of fun during the second part.
