A router can be a site of transmission, a unit of community, a potential lifeline. What if you could conjure any kind of router on Earth? What would it look, sound and feel like? Where would it live? What if it could send signals by raindrops and be powered by gray water? Are we ourselves routers?
In this playshop, we will collectively imagine all kinds of alternative routers to facilitate connections we wish for more of in the world. This workshop is inspired by the Feminist Server Manifesto and Community Tech NY's Every Network Tells a Story playbook. Alice facilitated a previous iteration of the workshop as part of AMRO22 in Linz, Austria in June.
